Adobe Reader 64bit Debian file is not available

The deb file I downloaded from Adobe website is 32 bit, 64 bit option is not there, but I am using 64bit Ubuntu 11.10.

Ubuntu software center prompts me that it is a wrong file.

So, how?

To get 64-bit you have to select operating system
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/

The query was about Adobe Reader, not Flash Player. AFAIK, there is no 64-bit version of Adobe Reader available. The 32-bit version runs fine on a 64-bit system if you have the needed 32-bit libraries installed. (Sorry, I can't help with getting Ubuntu to install all that.)

Code:

sudo apt-get install acroread
