adobe flash player can't play vedio etc. in open suse 11.1

hi dear all,

i installed adobe flash player (install_flash_player_10_linux.tar.gz)on linux open suse 11.1.

But it doesn't play vedio etc on you tube,it says that this is old version of flash player.

I reinstalled it ,even then it says old version of flash player.

please help me

Perhaps installing the package that is specific for your opensuse distro, rather than a tar.gz package, would help. Remove your current flash installation, and then use Yast to add the following repository:

http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/11.1/repo/non-oss/

Then use Yast to search for and install flash.

Don't worry about it. Just try using Yast to install the opensuse flash as I previously described. Perhaps that'll work.
