adding user suse 8.2
I just installed 8.2 via ftp. It took overnight, and i finished it up this morning. I was prompted for a root password, but either was not prompted or missed the oppurtunity to add other user accounts. I don't know how I can log in now, if I type root or su as user and my root password it says login failed. If i enter safe mode, I can become root and i get a # (command line?). Can I add another account using the #? Or, can I log in regulary somehow as root? Thanks for your help.

you can add an user just with typing command useradd <username> or adduser <username> but you must been logged as root...hmmm it must be ask you for root pass...when you install it..

You're going to need to remember that root's password. Otherwise you are not going to be able to do anything major.
