adding another OS - just info
 

I know there is a lot ppl asking if it's possible to add 3th OS.

My situatuion is bit different cause I have on one hard drive:
-98se
-XP
-MDK 9.1

Using LILO.

I was jsut wondering if I could erased 98 partition and put another Linux distro.Slackware.

is it possible?

Any tips ?

yes, you could erase your 98se partition
-> you have to use a partition program such as Partition Magic (windows), qtparted (Linux).. or during the install of the distro

I don't know what use you are putting 98 to, but I suggest you immediately do the specified procedure!!

you dont have to delete the whole 98se partition i dont think, i think if there is enough space you can install it on the same drive, i wouldent do that though, could cause some problems... :S

Ok,

i don't need 98 anymore so I'll formate it with Partition Magic (the one I know),because I don't have much space on this drive.

And I won't 4th OS,cause 3 OS is enough :)

just erased 98 with Partition Magic 8,but unsuccesfuly.

Xp won't boot :D

Glad I did backup before.I knew why :D

Does any1 know how to install Slackware without burning it at CD? I read documentation at Slackware web page,but now I don't have any Win.Can I download it here at MDK and then somehow (that's Q) install it from here?
