Adding an app to start menu in GNOME or KDE
How would I add an app anywhere in my start menu? I have no prob adding to the destop but sometimes I don't want stuff there.

in KDE, under the settings or utilities menu (im not sure which one) in the "K Menu" , there should be a program called Menu editor.
I think you can also right click on the menu and there should be an option for the menu editor. for GNOME, go into Nautilus, then Go-->Start Here, and then go into "applications" and change shortcuts accordingly. |
The solution I posted for this thread is also what you're after, for Gnome menus that is.
Good luck! :) |
