Add text to GUI Desktop

I have 4 Servers all running Fedora and I sometimes forget which Server I am since all the Server's Desktop backgrounds look alike. I know I could change themes, but I will most likely forget which theme goes to which Server.

Is there a way for me to add text to the Desktop GUI in big bold letters that will designate which server I am working with? For example, when I switch to the WebServer via KVM switch, I want the Desktop background to have in big bold letters..."WEBSERVER"

Why not just create a background image with the name and change the desktop background on the server ?

what is it like 1024x768 (or whatever appropriate resolution image) solid color with some text added ? Simple in the gimp or any other basic graphics editor.

That's better than what I was going to suggest. I was going to say use that post it notes program and put a note on the desktop...

Another option would be to use something like conky if you want some system load information up there as well.
