Add items in "start menu" using KDE

Just wondering how you can add some shortcuts or programs, whatever they are, too the start menu in KDE using SuSE 9.0. Thanks.

Alright so I did that, but when I click apply and close the KDE Menu Editor it doesnt show my changes in the start menu even if I log out and log back in. Did I put in incorrect information or do I need a konsole command?

Works for me, but then I'm using Slack 8.1,
KDE 3.1.2 ...

SuSE may have a special tool working
in the background that keeps all entires
in sync ... which means that you'd have
to actually become root to make the changes.

Cheers,
Tink
