Acronym Guide.


I'm new to Linux and these forums and I see a lot of Acronyms being used. Is there a FAQ that has some of the more common Acronyms and their definitions anywhere?

What do you mean by acronyms. Are you talking about Things Like GNU or imho.

yeah, I never knew tar was "tape archive"... everyday's a school day

Agreed. that's what I love about linux. I learn something new everyday.

i wish if i had something like linux for physics , maths and chemistry , intresting to use , intresting to learn and no matter what you get to learn new things everyday
