Acrobat execution error on RH8.0

I have installed Acrobat 5 successfully on Mandrake and SuSE but cannot get it working on RedHat 8.0.

The following error message appears:
"Warning: charset "UTF-8" not supported, using "ISO8859-1".

Any ideas on how to get acrobat executed successfully?

This isn't much help but I had the same problem with Redhat 8.0; Mandrake is sort of OK, except it always opens two Acroread windows at the same time... if anyone has any ideas on this problem as well.

PS there is (what appears to be) a bug with acrobat reader 5 where the bottom of the page is cut off on some PDF files

The fix for the Acrobat Reader 5 startup problem under Red Hat 8.0 was published (by people smarter than me) in the thread

P.S. No ideas (or experience) re Mandrake.
