ACPI management in RH 8.0
 

Hi there, I recently got a Dell Laptop (Inspiron 4150) and dual booted it with XP and RH 8.0. Everything works fine, except when I put down the lcd lid or it goes to suspend mode in RH 8.0. If either of those happens my screen gets garbled and I have do a hard boot as nothing else seems to work.

After searching on the web, I figured this must be related to acpi in linux, but then this kernel should have all the support, particularly when I chose a laptop option during installation. I would really appreciate if you can help, as you can see this can get pretty annoying to hard boot everytime other time you are not looking at it.
