Accessing files on a linux computer from windows

Here is my situation. I have two computer one running debian the other is a windows computer. On the debian I have a bunch of music files I want to use from my windows computer. I would like to use something like net use so that I could add more music files onto the debian system as well has play them with winamp. Do I have to use samba to do that or is there an easier way?

SAMBA is the package to set up windows-style file and print sharing. It's very straight forward. Using SWAT, it can be set up with almost no difficulty.
