Access to Squirrel Main without a KDE or General Linux Account

A friend of mine helped me set up a server which includes Squirrel Mail.

Itís CentOS 5.3.

I have a person who would like to access Squirrel Mail at remote sites.

My questions is, I can create an account on the server which has KDE and the usual general applications and he would have the remote access to Squirrel Mail but he doesnít need nor does he want to access KDE or anything else on my server. He just want an account so he can use Squirrel Mail.

How can I do this without providing him with a whole bunch of stuff and KDE.

Just create a normal user account. The user specific files for KDE etc are tiny, usually they don't get created until the user logs in for the first time to kde and he will need a home directory for mail anyway. If he hasn't got a shell account, then he won't be able to access the server other than through mail.
