Accelerated program crashing on startup
I'm running xfree86 4.2.0 with an ATI Radeon 9700 pro with the newest graphics driver installed, but when I try to run a program that requires 3d acceleration, it crashes to the desktop on start-up and displays this error:
Xlib: extension "XiG-SUNDRY-NONSTANDARD" missing on display ":0.0". Developer Backtrace: [ 1] /lib/i686/libpthread.so.0 [0x40028e55] Signal: SIGSEGV [segmentation fault] Aborting. Does this mean I should get a newer version of xfree86? Or get a new Xlib? |
Does anyone have an idea of what I can do to fix this?
