acapi error


I just installed ubantu,despite an error about the bios being too old.The error mentions bios=force. What is that? If I force an update ,my computer won't work at all.The rest of ubantu is working. Is Acapi important?

i think yuo mean acpi. yes it can be important but it might not be. it this on a laptop? if its on a laptop you will not have battery meter and your either way be careful without acpi because your fan might not work.
