AC97 Audio Driver question

I have onboard AC97 audio and apparently mandrake 9.2 doesn't have the drivers for it. Can somebody link me to these, or tell me how to compile some? Thanks.

The linux kernel has support for the AC97 device. You can either have a module for the hardware or have it compiled directly into the kernel. Just look for it under Sound Support in menuconfig/xconfig/etc.
