I've only ever used 2 other forums in my life, one was a bunch of teens who WERE just looking for an excuse to flame someone and the other was a forum where if you didnt understand all there terminology they PMed and harrased you constantly... I just took your replies as a little more hostile then they were... my bad.

PS: whats a /\/\3rz
Not a problem; apologies are never tacky.
1a/\/\3rz is "leet speek" for "lamers," which is what the people on the other forums are.

Welcome to LQ!

Appologies accepted, no worries.
Thanks all for helping to make thread title point clearer (and educate)

now I still can't get sound working...
fixed my sound... yet again that wasnt what my post was about
So I took the time to read the thread, ask about error messages,
thought you had a sound problem,
and now well I am glad it is working, but we discover your post was not about that.

Just to re-iterate, be sure to communicate clearly.

Ok, you wanted a FC4 tutorial, unless you show doing some homework, people
will not necessary be keen to help. Actually people on average are very kind.

Anyhow, I am waffling.

For future reference, it is usually usefull to say how one solved a given problem, in case
it is useful to somebody else, or in the likely case that somebody reading the
thread might learn something.
