About the vpn services

May I know how to install the any free ware Vpn on my Ubuntu 10.10 machine
i have installed open vpn by this command ..
sudo apt-get install openvpn

i don't know the forward steps anyone here to help me out ?
I am newbie on the open source world

Perhaps this guide can help you. It takes you through setting up VPN on a number of different Ubuntu releases.

There's a good "quick'n'dirty" HOWTO on the official website. A good one for a point-to-point connection.
