About loading driver.

Say I'm installing gentoo via network. I need to load/install the driver for my network card. How do I load it? modprobe "driver name"?

Yup, but you do have to be root (su -) and you have to know the driver name.

do you know what module you need to load? I am guessing you do not since you put "drive name" in quotes. If you need help post up what network card you have.

Is it by adding the modprobe driver to /etc/modules.conf ?
