about KDE virtual desktop
 

doesn't like gnome, the task bar in KDE is always shown in the panel what ever u r in virtual desktop1 or 2, or 3.... is there any way to config it like this: once u click for virtual desktop2, the task bar in desktop1 will no longer apear in the panel..... sorry for my poor discription. thanks in advanced! :study:

You can configure the taskbar with the left mouse button menu:

Configure panel -> taskbar (icons on the right) -> then uncheck "Show windows from
all desktops"


This way, when you change virtual desktop, only windows in that new desktop (if any) will appear.
