Question About GATEWAY AND ISP

Hi all,

It seems i have some troubles with a lan pc which is not able to get outside the lan via my gateway.
I was told to update a value into resolv.conf which corresponds to the DNS Server of my ISP.

Currently, my ISP in France is FREE.
Assuming the DNS IP is 120.120.120.120, what is the correct syntax to add it ?

free 120.120.120.120 ?

Thanks in advance.
