aac/m4a support for JUK / decent aac music players

Ok, so i installed/compiled a working Gentoo distro with KDE 3.3.
Since then i've 'emerged' several media/music players including Xmms, Amarok and Juk.
I was wondering if it is possible to use my rather large collection of itunes files from my windows NTFS partition in Juk.
Xmms seems a little small and crappy and Amarok crashes every 5 minutes.
Juk seems to be the nicest layout and functionality, but doesnt recognise the m4a files i have.
I've installed FAAC and FAAD2 and can get m4a files to play though Xmms and Amarok.
Am i missing a plugin? or compiled them incorrectly?

Are there any players out there that will play m4a that arent the above?
Which is best?
and if possible is there and 'ebuild' for any of them?

Please any help would be great!
thanks

There does exist a plugin for xmms, but I don't know if there's an ebuild for it. So maybe you'll have to manually compile it and put it in ~/.xmms/plugins/Input

Don't know about the other players
