A way to set premissions? [konqueror]
 
i have mandrake9.1 and konqueror. Whenever i try to copy something to my win_d mount it says i dont have premission... i need to get my files on windows.

Type in mount in a console and see if it is mounted read only. Usually says (ro) at the end of the line if it is. It may also be that you have it set as root only for permissions.

If it is NTFS, you might want to leave it as read only. Some have lost data when writing to NTFS. That is what I have read anyway.

I don't know about Mandrake, but with FC3 I installed (not shipped with Fedora, though) the ntfs module that does read-write access,

It isn't recommended, afaik, to use that write possibility..

I have a dual boot system, and have three (excluding my boot and swap partitions) partitions: one for Linux, one for Windows, and one for both, which is FAT32. This is a filesystem both understand, so that's how you can share data storage between the OSes..
