A simple Sendmail configuration question
Someone configured Sendmail on our unix server so that only some specific users can receive mails from the www, while there is no such restriction on intranet mail delivery, and any user can send mails to the www.

I should now make some changes to the names of users allowed to receive mail, but I do not know how to do it.

Could you please give me a good starting point?

As far as I can see presently there are no separate mailboxes for mails received from the www, i.e. the mailboxes of some users can receive both external (www) and internal (intranet) mails. This behaviour should be preserved.

Thanks, it seems that this is configured at our ISP not on our server.

I wonder if it could be set up within the walls...

You might be able to do what you want through a well-configured procmail.

man procmail

and I'd suggest e-mailing them and they'll send you the entire manual with examples (address is in the man page I think... if not, download the sources and it's in there)
