A Problem in Configuring VSFTPd...

I am configuring my vsftpd... the content in my vsftpd.conf is

anonymous_enable=YES
local_enable=YES
listen=YES
anon_mkdir_write_enable=YES
write_enable=YES

i'am also done in configuring the permissions for the /home/ftp-docs folder...

dr-x-w---x 2 root ftp-users 4096 Aug 24 09:52 ftp-docs

1. my problem is, i can't login in one of my assigned username with corresponding password.

2. 2nd is, i just want to clarify if the default shared directory for ftp is in /home/ftp-docs.

3. i can login as anonymous, but i cant create a directory in my ftp..

thanks a lot guys...

Makee sure that the nobody user + the vsftpd user haswrite access to the directory. A good idea is to look at the los in /var/logs/
