A "KTTSD Failed" Box Appearing In Kubuntu 9.1

I just installed Kubuntu 9.1 from a boot disc. After customizing the new installation, I keep getting a box saying "KTTSD Failed". I wonder if there is any way to prevent that from happening? I have made several attempts at eliminating it but nothing seems to work. Any input would be greatly appreciated. - Jim, Linux User.

Lots of info on Google about this:

Appears to be related to the Text To Speech Daemon. You don't say how often, but there are some KDE applets that will 'say' the time every so often. If the daemon isn't configured, it'll obviously fail.
