A good universal chat client

Hi.. I was using Pidgin on my Jaunty all these days. But from the past one week, I'm experiencing problems with Yahoo. It just doesn't get connected. Basically, I need a chat client which supports Yahoo, Gtalk and Facebook. Is there an alternative to Pidgin which supports the above mentioned protocols?

There is a new version of pidgin (2.5.7) that fixes the problem. See http://pidgin.im/
