hi
i bought a Toshiba L310-S408 Laptop.Now i want to setup fedora9 but after the Anaconda installer runs.there appears a black screen and probably the machine hangs.

Plz give me the solutions as soon as you can......

That often happens when the machine contains an unsupported video card. Try using the failsafe graphics option or get a different distro. Fedora has become awfully picky about hardware. F11 recognized neither of my nv9600 and nv250 cards; most other distros picked them up just fine.

i have to use fedora9....coz i hv to run the software NCTUns for network design(Which requires fedora9)....wht can i do?

Well, I'm afraid that won't work. The GM45 intel chipset has an awful reputation and appears to be causing issues even with Fedora 11.

I'm not sure whether your really need Fedora 9, though. Maybe you need at least Fedora9; and often, even the "Fedora" part is not really required so you can use a different distro instead.
