Question 7.2 boot problems

I have recently installed RH 7.2 on my computer. I have it as the standalone OS on my slave and Win98 and XP on my master. I use Bootit NG as my boot manager. The computer will boot into the other two systems without any trouble but when I try to boot into RH all I get is the word GRUB and a blinking underscore against a black field. It does this even when I swap HD in the BIOS and Bootit. Any suggestions?

GRUB, which you might or might not know, so I'll take the chance of sounding silly here; is the default boot-loader for RedHat these days. The problem you're having now is that one boot loader is trying to summon another, which doesn't exactly ever work. See if you can get into RH with a rescue disk and then scrape GRUB off there. I don't exaclty know how to do that last step because I use Lilo on everything.

Hope that's a start.
