64bit firefox & flash

Is there a way to remove the annoying pop up message that I don't have flash installed in my browser? I tried following this page:http://www.trilithium.com/johan/2005...ional-plugins/ but now I get even more annoying messages. It says "Default Plugin" at the top, and then "This page contains information of a type (application/x-shockwave-flash) that can only be viewed with the appropriate Plug-in. Click OK to download the Plugin." Clicking OK obviously does nothing. What are people doing to get around this problem? Switching browsers? Thanks.

Yes, remove the 64-bit firefox and install the 32-bit firefox, flash does not work with the 64-bit version of firefox.

You will have to manually copy the flash files to the /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins folder (if needed create this folder) from the flash-installer;

FYI: there is no 64-bit flashplayer yet.
