Question 46" Samsung DLP Screen displays as 50" - Can't see the whole screen!

My Samsung HL-P4663W display launches fine for the current Ubuntu release, but the image 'edges' land just outside the visible area... I have to guess where the targets are for 'Browser', 'Mail', 'Applications', etc.
WHen I review the Display Options in Admin, my TV shows up as a 50" monitor instead of a 46".
Where does this get corrected? Does this mean there is not currently a driver for my TV?

Check which is the correct resolution for the monitor in its documentation and set that either in System > Administration > Displays or in the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file. I guess that the resolution is beyond its limits and thats why it doesn't display correctly.

Looks like /etc/X11/xorg.conf needs a custom modeline. The place to start is to first determine the resolution of your TV. Then, open a terminal window and run
Code:
gtf
to determine the proper modeline to enable your TV to display at its maximum resolution. Then add your custom modeline to /etc/X11/xorg.conf.
