3ware Raid how do you get a status of the drives

New to system, Linux box. learning as I go... is there a GUI interface or just line commands. I need to check on the status of the Raid drives. Current Alarm sounding. The system has 4 SATA drives 3WARE Controler 9500S. I need to power down system to posibly replace a fan. I need to determind there state before a system shutdown.
