3d acceleration with ati driver under suse

I use Suse 9.3 and installed the ati driver for my radeon 9600. The driver was actually easy to install and fglrxconfig was no problem too. But the 3d acceleration is still not functioning. Ist there something more I should do?

Strange enough, because my SuSE 9.3 Pro configured my ATI Radeon 9600XT quite good. Try running Yast again and "retest video card"; I can't post you my xorg because I formatted drive just 2days ago and put Slackware as Desktop. I still use SuSE on my laptop and I'm quite happy about it!
