Right...that's what 389 is for.
So, back to what was said previously: you don't tell us what kind of clients are trying to log in, you don't tell us what you did to install it, what error(s)/message(s) you got, etc. You have
provided ZERO useful details that would let us help you. Not version/distro of Linux, what kind of hardware, number of clients, what OS those clients are running, etc....NOTHING.
Restating your question doesn't tell us anything new....
