32 bit for Ubuntu 12.10 64 bit

How do i get the 32 bit ( required for installing db2 ) in my Ubuntu 12.10 64 bit ? I tried installing ia32-libs, but no luck though ?

Welcome to LQ!

Open your Synaptic Package Manager and in the search type in the package ''
If your Package Manager has it right click on it and tell Synaptic to install it.

If your Synaptic Package Manager does not have this package that you need you can open the terminal and run:
sudo apt-get install libpam0g:i386

It is working on Ubuntu 12.04 64 bits...
