32 bit & 64 bit Centos

Guys,

Trying to download centos 5.5

i386 is 32 bit where x86_64 is 64bit? Can somebody confirm?

Thanks,
John

That is an uncommon/odd way of referring to an x86_64 distro. Of the two selections you indicate, I'd say "yes" to the second one being the 64bit version. To be sure, maybe give us the link(s) to the place where you're planning to download the distro so that someone can verify for sure?

I corrected to "x86_64" and not "x386_64".

OK, yes you had it right - 32bit and 64bit are as marked; x86_64 is the 64bit version.
