2 node rac setup on linux


Dear Linux Admins,

I am doing 2 node RAC setup in Vmware Workstation.

I do NOT using DNS setup.

>> On both Node /etc/hosts entries

Joystick, perhaps you can more clearly emphasize the points where these checks failed, and update the forum with any steps or diagnostic efforts you have pursued in order to analyze and resolve these issues. There should be guidance in the documentation to alert you what potential problems exist when these checks fail. Have you reviewed that?

A web search for "PRVF-7617 : Node connectivity failed" yields hundreds of discussions of that error. A quick scan of a couple shows the error means there is a TCP connectivity problem.
