2 linux distrubutions and one swap file?

I was just wondering, if i installed two different linux distributions on different partitions, can I use the same swap file partition for both distributions or do I have to make a swap partition for each distribution?

Thanks guys

Nope, 1 swap partition is fine for multiple versions of Linux. I use a single swap partition for 4 versions I run on an other PC.

hmmm...I'm not 100% but I'm assuming that as long as /etc/fstab is set up correctly you could share the swap partition.

One swap partition to rule them all and in the darkness bind them.
