2 HDDs ... separate linux on 2 .... can get boot option only for 1


hi,
a problem here... i got 2 HDDs.. on one i have FC3 and windows ... on other i want to install another linux ( got to do some device driver programming)....(both are SATA) when i install FC/RHE its grub cant detect my other linux .... i can boot only in one linux cant make both of them bootable. i can get windows in option but no option for other linux.... ??? any solns.

If you didn't over-write '/boot' and its sub-directories with the FC install you can get the needed information off of the menu.lst file in the grub directory and paste the command into the active boot directory's grub menu.lst. If you use LILO, I have no experience there. Thought, I'm sure the process should be similar in some sense or other.

PS: You'll have to be working as root to make any of the modifications mentioned. You can look around as another user though.
