2.8 GHz Intel Celeron which i*86?
 

Here's a stupid question. I"m not really familiar with the different architectures of the i*86 stuff.

Would i686 fit a 2.8 ghz intel celeron processor the best? I'm kinda in the market for a cheap secondary computer.

Any other opinions or suggestions are welcome. Thanks

Pentium 4 based Celerons are i686 chips. You might consider looking at a cheap Athlon XP though, since the P4 Celerons really skimp on the L2 cache, which means that they don't perform particularly well at all.
