2.4.2 Compile error

I swear I'm cursed.

Trying 2.4.2, getting this:

ld: -m elf_i386 -tText 0x0 -s oformat binary -o bootsect bootsect.o
ld: cannot open binary: No such file or directory

Any insight appreciated as always.

Sorry, heh, no network on the box either, otherwise I'd post a log.

Just doing a plain ol' 'make zImage'. Standard config, nothing out-of-ordinary, most non-needed driver support disabled altogether.

This is just where the compile stops. Currently running debian 2.2.20-idepci.
