Unhappy 1st kenel compile problems

OK, I've been trying to complile my first kenel for arch linux, did the make menuconfig, make dep, and tried to do the make bzImage. My poblem is that about 1 min. into the complie I keep getting this error:

...In the file included from /usr/src/linux/include/linux/interrupt.h:45,
...from ksyms.c:21:

.../usr/src/linux/include/asm/hardirq.h:41:1: warning:
..."synchronize_irq" redefined

...In the file included from /usr/src/linux/include
...from /usr/src/linux/include/linux/module.h:21,
...from ksyms.c:14:

...warning: this is the location of the previous defifition

Any ideas whay is wrong with (or even what it is)
ksysm.c, could it be a bad download, patch, kenel config, or ....WHAT ELSE!?

Please help
