Here is the installation guide from RedHat.. This is the part for the boot disc http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/l...EPS-MAKE-DISKS

Planet X 10-12-2003 08:33 PM

ok lol, sorry this is another newbish question...

Now. Do i burn the iso images as cd images or do I burn them as data ???

boreo 10-12-2003 08:53 PM

Just click on them and the program you are using will burn them automatically.. Or are you using Redhat to burn the isos?

Planet X 10-12-2003 09:06 PM

im using windows xp and roxio.

boreo 10-12-2003 09:10 PM

So just click on the ISO you downloaded roxio should come up and just click record or whatever it is.. LOng time I don't use it :) ...

projo 10-12-2003 09:30 PM

And you should be able to boot directly from the first CD.

*smacks head and becomes frustrated(sp?)*

ok ok ok, i got the boot disc working fine. np with that baby, it loads into the redhat linux 9 boot screen everytime. but when i put the disc in and hit install from local cd-rom....NOPE it says no cd.

and i know im pointing it to the correct cd rom drive because it flashes as in trying to access it. so can someone please help me burn these darn iso's. thanks in advance.
