111: Connection refused
 

Hi Guys,
I am new at linux but had some technical experience in the past in my old companies.. I am somewhat familiar with basics (installations, configuration vi etc). But I came across an issue that I can't pass by. I am working on a Mac with parallel 13. and I installed Kali linux 2017.2 and when I try to install chrome or do an apt-get update I get the 111: connection refused error. I have tried everything and nothing works.. I need help. I tried to update the hosts file in etc/hosts with vi for the http.kali.org to resolve and nothing. Can you help me disable the firewall and how to fix this issue ? thank you in advance guys anything is appreciated..

It's used to good Kali but you should know exactly what you are doing since it's an OS for pen testing.

Try installing the firmware for your wireless card.
