1-key seems to be pressed

I just installed CentOS 5.2.i386, and -at first sight- almost everything is alright. There only is one itty bitty small detail, which I think is not right: in certain application, it seems I am holding down the 1-key. Not all the time, but just sometimes! Even when plugging out the mouse and the keyboard connectors - it keeps writing 111111111111111 and so on. Suddenly it stops, and I can use the system as I want.

At this moment, I am having a workaround: waiting until it is alright.

If somebody has an idea how to get working it normally, I'd be glad.

Sincerely,

Albert van Harten

Well, it seems to be, because Scroll Lock is on. I use Scroll Lock to switch keyboard, video and mouse by use of a KVM-switch, to my Windows machine.
Unlike in Windows, in (my setup of) Linux, it is not possible to see if Scroll Lock is on or not.
