1 debain and 1 apache issue
My debian problem
I need to be able to do an apt-get but i have a secure proxy server (requires password) where do i put that info
Apache2
I want my web files to be in a user directory /home/escso/www/
how do i do that?

1) Info goes into /etc/apt/apt.conf
2) File /etc/apache2/sites-available/default should have "DocumentRoot /home/escso/www" instead of default.

The thing is, i dont have an apt.conf
I thought that is where it should be.

Thanks for the apache help, that fixed it, still having trouble with my apt-get.
