'Bootable' CD I burnt won't boot

ok, maybe i did went too far, but come on, at least 3 people told you that you have to burn the image you got as iso not as a file and you still cannot figure it out. Man, thats sad.

Thanks for your help guys,
When I first burnt the CD, I did burn it as an image, but I used the option to make a bootable CD, which seemed reasonable to me, not having come across ISO images before. I wasn't aware that the 'bootable' bit was in the ISO image, until Michaelk pointed it out. The CD boots fine now but I had to disconnect my HP printer as I got an error while it was creating database of printers. I can sort that out later. Thanks again guys. Ron
