[ubuntu] Mysqlcc

I got ubuntu linux with a few questions :)

I installed apache2 and php5 on my server , i cant copy files into the www directory... Thats the first one.
The second is that i cant install mysqlcc.
Because i don't have the package i think.
Instead of mysqlcc i would like to install phpmyadmin , but i don't realy know how to install it on ubuntu.

1) Why can't you copy the files - what error do you get, what is your difficulty. Remember that the www directory will most likely be owned by root, not the standard user, so you have to be root to put files in it (sudo bash will take care of that).
2) Check out my tutorial on installing software: http://www.linuxnewbieguide.org/chap9.php - it's just a case of using Synaptic Package Manager. Nice and easy.
