[Ubuntu] Installation problem

Im new to linux, and people advised me to use ubuntu for beginning.
I installed the first part , then the computer needs to reboot to do the second part without cd.
I reboot and get the error that there's no cd in the cd-drive.
If i put the cd in, i reinstall and get the same problem.
Whats the problem? How can i fix this?

Are you sure you have gone back into the BIOS and told the computer to boot from hard drive again? Also, at the end of first part of the Ubuntu install, did you correctly tell it to install the bootloader to the MBR of the hard drive?

I didn't change the bios. . .
But i know sure i installed everything without problems..
I will check the bios now.

Can't think what else it can be - either the BIOS only wants to look for CD on boot, or the bootloader hasn't written properly and so can't boot from hard drive. Let us know how it goes.

Going back to my previous comment then, "boot failure insert system disk and press enter" means it hasn't written the boot loader properly. Try loading up the Ubuntu install from CD again and getting it to write grub to the MBR once more, then restart.

I don't know sure but i think..
