[SOLVED] .tgz installation file

Hi I'm not really sure is this the exact place for my question but as a newbie I assume it has something common.
I'm trying to install VMware Workstation 10 on Linux Mint 17.2 but the only version available for download was as it says OpenSorce in .tgz file.
I read that this is compressed file that should include a bundle file or something, but when I unpacked the downloaded file it turned out that the first .tgz file contains a couple of dozens of .tgz which hide a bunch of .tgz each on their own and so on just like an avalanche but no bundle or .rpm files to install vm ws from.
So is there some other way to install the workstation or am I missing something.
