[slackware]Ethernet modem
 

Hello
Yesterday i bought an ethernet modem, and i want to connect my slackware to the internet.
I have 2 pc's:
Windows XP(it doesn't work either out there)
Slackware 10.0
They're connnected to a hub, and i have my ethernet modem in my hub.
I've tried a couple of things:
Used dhcpcd.
Used ifconfig to set my ip
Used adsl-setup(and then adsl-start)
kppp(it says the modem is bussy)
But it all didn't work.
So how can i connect to the internet with my slackware?

When i typed pppoe -I eth0 it says:
pppoe: Timeout wating for PADO packets.
Dono, maybe important to know that it gives timeouts(also on adsl-start).
